I am very curious on the short and longterm affects of micro-plastics on the human body. They surely can't be good for us, but is the degree of their harm really significant?

I find that we are absolutely surrounded by harmful microplastics. As such, I was curious on the most realistic ways to reduce our microplastic exposure as an average person. Any inputs would be appreciated!
