ECS receives Georgia School Board Association-Risk Management Services Safety Grant. Mrs. Chandra Hooks, ECS Executive Director of Nutrition, submitted the grant proposal to purchase slip-resistant shoes and wet floor signs to prevent slips, trips, and falls. #ECSNutritionDept

Seedling Garden Club members visited SPS on October 19. Kim Hooks, with Emanuel County Farm to School, set up the event to celebrate Georgia Organics' "Pepper Palooza" Month. Students picked the flowers from one of the many school gardens on the SPS's campus. #farmtoschoolmonth

We are delighted to welcome our newest School Board Member, Brandon Jones, to Emanuel County Schools. Mr. Jones represents District 1 and is genuinely passionate about education and improving the lives of our students.

Emanuel County Schools mourn the loss of Mr. Desse Davis, our beloved retired school principal. Mr. Davis dedicated his life to Emanuel County Schools for 32 years, leaving an indelible mark on our school system and the community as a whole.

Pepper Palooza and Hail to the Kale! PreK students made a "vegetable" container with a Kale plant. The students took these home to replant the kale for a fall vegetable garden. The students learned how healthy foods help us fight disease. #farmtoschool
