@Markedw Absolute rubbish from the AFL. We play Geelong in round 1 when they’ve already had a curtain raiser. Then our first game back off the bye is Geelong… joke.

After lions Freo stay home with a nice bye in the middle to get all those injuries sorted. Geelong at Optus will be a huge game.

@streaker_585 @Markedw So he needs continuity with a bye in 3 weeks…The literal definition of continuity is unbroken and consistent operation of something over time. He’s our best asset and we need him at the pointy end. After the bye he’ll have 9-10 games to set himself up nicely for finals footy.

@JordanTHFCFFC Id say we’re backing in Ras and Johno. We still have Bolton, Brayshaw, Jackson, Reid and even Wagner himself has gone through there at times. Serong is a big loss, but we have guys to cover.

@Markedw @mr_chitafa @RayJCapo79 Could argue the Dons game was a danger game. Record against them in Melb wasn’t great and in the wet. The shocking saints game last year was the fire starter for this team. They’ll want redemption, and the footy we’re playing right now is top shelf. We should be very confident.

Freo has best defence in competition, yet what we are getting known for is power forward line. Reckon Saints are going to get whacked hard. I said it about Essendon and people stop being so bullish. I'm saying it again, Freo by plenty!

@DylanMcEvoy I understand your point, but disagree. Simpson was dangerous by foot and speed in his 5 games. However, being on 9 wins and two games clear of third. There’s plenty of opportunities to come. In the end, I think McVee having 70+ games played is more valuable at this point in time.

Would love to know what is keeping Cooper Simpson out of the team. McVee's kicking is shocking. Last year Simpson changed the way Freo play. Took the hard kicks & was a breathe of fresh air & then broke his collar bone. Should be in the team.
