Am I the only one who didn't get "constant sexual harassment" when going through puberty (or ever?)? why does every woman online say this. I feel crazy. I started puberty @8 and I still don't remember having any issues with this. Is it that if ur ugly enough ppl leave u alone?

If you’re self aware of your problems and what probably caused them therapy is going to be hard because people deadass walk around clueless like “omg maybe my dad telling me I suck shit when I was a kid probably ruined my self esteem” and they don’t make the connection

@mmm_t___ @RoboticFembot @marty_freudman most therapists are not good. and they're inaccessible, but also they are not beneficial. they may be to some but I really believe it can be more harmful to have a bad therapist than to go untreated.

@ember_ethereal @KingPootPoot @marty_freudman yup they’re VERY hard to find and often inaccessible for various reasons, which is why no one should ever be making generalizations about how everyone should be in therapy, therapy is good for everyone, etc.

@meifumaudo who can cut through your bullshit and who you are ready to show up and honestly work with. A therapist can’t do anything if you’re not going to talk about what *actually* gnaws at you. If you’re going there to bitch about surface level life problems then you’re probably wasting $
