@starscape_one Thank you! The original reference had a really cute cat that I based it on. But in general though, I love how cats curl up when you scoop them up.

@sunnyskytoday1 Ah, that is perfect! I didn't know about Signor Pomidor, but Tanya probably would have named a cat after Синьор Помидор. At the very least, she'd have access to books with stories like that.

Forgot to include these. The line art, plus the reference and big inspiration for this one. I usually take my own references, but this one I loved as is. (Though I did end up asking my son to help with the pose because I did a slightly different perspective!)

@MZ28651028 Sure, but this is just a fictional interpretation based on some modern interpretations of a kokoshnik and also loosely inspired by a costume party held by the Romanovs in 1903, where their kokoshniks were romanticized anyway :) There are lots of things here would be inaccurate.

Party like you're a grand duchess and it's 1903 ✨ Ocs, but not canon :3 I just wanted to draw kokoshniks.
