It's embarrassing that posts like this exist on this platform. Whenever people overly celebrate their visa approval in public, they undermine the basic dignity of other Nigerians. Of course, people who intend to travel abroad for legitimate reasons should be happy about receiving a visa. However, celebrating it without disclosing the purpose of the journey suggests that they are celebrating an escape. No other country's citizens behave this way. Look around you and change your life.

@steezy10_ No one solves their problems by running away from them. Stop creating a misleading impression for young, impressionable Nigerians, some of whom are already figuring out their lives one step at a time. x.com/i/status/20419…

This mindset perpetuates false messages that lead ordinary Nigerians to view migration as a kind of miraculous liberation. While some people do succeed abroad, many more succeed in Nigeria. You can't emigrate away from all your current challenges.

Today, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith, a powerful reminder that light triumphs over darkness, hope conquers despair, and life prevails over death. Through His victory over the grave, humanity has received the gift of salvation, the assurance of eternal life, and the promise of renewed hope. Easter calls us to embrace love, forgiveness, and compassion, values that strengthen our communities and uplift our nation. As we rejoice in this season of renewal, may the blessings of Easter bring peace to our hearts, unity to our families, and prosperity to our land. Happy Easter to all!

Happy Easter to all those celebrating! And a happy Sunday to those who don't! Happy first Sunday of the month to those who don't worship on Sundays! And a happy new week to those who don't believe in or doubt Christianity. Believe me, these received religions will divide us into even more factions in the next 20 years!

Consistency is the key to progress in all our endeavours. Stay faithful to your goals and keep pushing forward. You will have a major breakthrough before you know it. But remember: when this breakthrough comes, stay humble and respectful, and maintain your focus. Don't become complacent, because complacency stifles creativity.

This examination of how gendered bodies in Africa's mediasphere transform identities, recount narratives and generate meanings will undoubtedly be invaluable to anyone interested in gender studies on the continent. Rowland Chukwuemeka Amaefula routledge.com/Digital-Expres…
