@BrightAcadFISD Secret Pals provided a piece of sunshine each month. @LatashaWin1913 organizes this each year and the reveal is such a treat. My pal not only gave me piece of artwork each month, but a @Nordstrom gift card attached each time. Time to cash them all in!

These readers have been writing SCRs about the central idea of a text. Today, they partnered up to decide the BEST piece of evidence to support their central idea. I was so impressed by their conversations and reasoning!

4th graders completed a gallery walk of mentor opinion essays noticing what they did “well”. Students were blown away to know that the essays were from past 4th graders at @BrightAcadFISD 🤩

Thank you @BrightPta for bringing this program to our school! The Ss were engaged and the presentation was top notch!

We spent some time this morning building houses for the Three Little Pigs. We then tested which house was the strongest and discovered the house made of Brick could withstand all the huffs and puffs of the Big Bad Wolf!

This week’s math small group focus? Organizing and justifying our thinking! I’m so impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail from these mathematicians! @BrightAcadFISD
