Sounds like a total lack of actual biblical knowledge, ignorance about the fact Jesus was written about 700 years before his birth and the fact that old and new testaments have over 300,000 interconnections. Jesus Christ was a real man, he lived a life people wrote about and those writings have survived unchanged. He died, was crucified under pontius Pilate, rose from the dead and was witnessed by more than 500 eyewitnesses. Jesus Christ is God.

The argument presents a false dilemma by assuming Jesus’ prophecy must refer only to His final visible return or else Christianity is false. In passages like Matthew 24, Jesus speaks about the destruction of Jerusalem, the judgment on Israel, and His ultimate return in ways that are closely connected. Many Christians understand “this generation will not pass away” as referring primarily to the destruction of the Temple in AD 70, which did happen within the lifetime of His contemporaries. The language about “coming on the clouds” comes from Daniel 7 and often refers to divine authority and judgment rather than a physical descent to earth. Biblical prophecy regularly uses symbolic and apocalyptic imagery to describe real historical events without becoming false or meaningless. Saying prophetic language is metaphorical does not mean it is invalid any more than poetic language in the Psalms is invalid. The objection also ignores that Old Testament prophets frequently described national judgments using cosmic imagery like falling stars and darkened suns. Once the Jewish apocalyptic context is understood, the supposed contradiction disappears and the argument against Christianity loses its force.

P2: If it is a literal prophecy, it failed (which makes Jesus mistaken). P3: If it is a metaphor, it is not an actual prophecy (which invalidates the prophetic claim). P4: Jesus cannot be mistaken, and his prophetic claims cannot be invalid. C: The Christian theological position is self-contradictory.

Well to be clear, sleep means you dead lol. And there’s also a verse that says to be absent from the mind is to be present with the Lord. So there is “heaven” which is a temporary place we must go while we wait for the new creation, but for a Christian, heaven isn’t the ultimate goal, it’s the new creation.

It's likely that the authors who spoke of this in the Bible were using the best words they had to describe the situation.

The rosary, although it uses some Bible verses, isn’t biblical. There are ten times as many prayers to Mary than to God. All 650+ recoded prayers in the Bible are to God alone. The only thing the rosary resembles is the vain repetitions Christ told us to avoid.
