@Darth_124 Can you really say it has no meaning so definitively? mmm...I don’t think art being a public good necessarily has to coincide with being permanently accessible. I want to hear your thoughts if you dig one step deeper into what art is and what form its existence ought to take.

@Darth_124 If a problem were to arise at that point, it would end up causing trouble for the company too can you take responsibility for that?

@Darth_124 Well, I mean, you ((Are you a staff member??))only created the server, after all. I read about that part too. But even if you yourself don't misuse it, can you take responsibility if someone who accessed it had malicious intent?

@emethmu I’m not ignoring anything, I’m simply keeping the conversation on track with the main issue at hand. As for corporate damage there’s still no issue, because in most cases, especially in the case of Nier, fan projects don’t actually cause any damage.

@Darth_124 It feels mean that you keep talking while ignoring my intentions like that. (In the case of Japan, corporate damage also harms creators, so it really is a deadlock.)

@Darth_124 I did read the situation, including everything you told me.(maybe) & because I was troubled by how the argument was going nowhere, I deliberately made a dreamy kind of suggestion.

@Darth_124 Really…? If you wrote that you understood my sad feelings, I would have wanted you to just start with fan talk normally. Like, I'd love to hear which characters you liked.

@emethmu It’s a fine sentiment, but again, it doesn’t justify abandoning something simply because a corporation deemed it unworthy to maintain. You say the creators shut it down, when in reality it was never really up to them, but to their bosses who manage the company.

@Darth_124 What I saw felt like… taking the body that had already been laid to rest, skinning it, and with the best of intentions fashioning it into a beautiful doll. It made me feel sad, with a touch of nostalgia mixed in. Does that get my feelings across?
