I’m not on here much anymore but here’s my Halloween costume this year. My little half-orc. First time attempting anything approaching #cosplay and had a lot of fun doing it.

I was telling my therapist about my book last night and she said she isn’t much of a reader but she got SO excited when I was giving her some details and said she will absolutely want to read it so that’s a nice feeling 🥹

My 10yr old had to do a comic bio of a famous Canadian for school, and chose @Cmdr_Hadfield. I’m a fan.

I was feeling a bit grumply, so I bought myself some presents. Can a writer really have too many craft books?

I have texted two authors today with messages like “why are you like this!” and “how could you?!” while reading their work, because it’s important to give clients detailed critical feedback on their work.

Happy birthday to me!

I spent all last year working on solutions for my executive dysfunction with my boss. On Thursday he told me that my job is changing…into one that will require much higher levels of executive functioning. I’m terrified.

@JayWatamaniuk It’s weird how much of a difference good presentation on camera can make in the interview process. I’m currently hiring for a role and I definitely notice. Good luck!
