tl:dr; don't engage with/spread things that were made to hurt people with misinformation and such, because that's exactly what they want. you are playing right into their trap by giving them a wider audience, no matter how you're responding to what they've presented.

and speaking out against it is more than fine - but one way NOT to do that is to provide more attention to the people who are doing it in the first place. shit like that is exactly why the "superstraight" shit went from being bait to something that people take seriously.

i am BEGGING you guys NOT to RT anything about "transracial" people. i don't care if you're dunking on it - any publicity is good publicity for trolls, and the more spread it has, the more power it has to damage the actual trans community. block, report, and move on.
