The hound has a poorly stomach. The poos are now so bad that we have to shower her arse after each trip outside. I used to spend nights doing fun stuff like shagging and sleeping. Now, I am showering my dogs arse. What is life

Happy International Women’s Day. I shall be celebrating in the traditional way - by cancelling my freelance work to take care of my vomiting baby. While she naps I will be clearing up the vomit, washing vomit clothes, and mainlining coffee. Don’t tell me I don’t know how to party

@jimsyjampots My now 8mo has been on the 98th centile from her first scan and after my 35w scan they strongly recommended an c-section at 37w (9lbs7). History of stillbirth, so everyone was v keen for everything to go well. Section worked for me and helped my fear of anything going wrong x

I will never take for granted how lucky I am to have both sets of baby’s grandparents near by. Without their childcare I wouldn’t be able to afford to go back to work in the new year. Nursery is £74/day, so it’s pay that or pay the bills. Can’t do both. Thank god for grandparents

I do not know how to be a working mother. It’s really hard. Feel like I’m offering up a rubbish version of myself to both work and my daughter. It will get easier, she’s still so small, but for now it’s HARD

Dreamed last night that fascist loons took over and were hunting people down, specifically my baby. I was frantically trying to pack and get out, and the chap responded “well we knew what we were getting into when we had her, we knew this could happen.” And honestly fuck anxiety.
