@emlarnold Great and meaningful work, Emma! Can you please email me the posters?

@ThomasDekeyser It really does feel impossible – sorry to hear you feel similarly.
I had hopes of applying for funds for another postdoc as an alternative path forward but now even that seems out of reach, not so much because of funding opportunities but lack of institutional support.

@emlarnold I hear you. The job market feels pretty impossible at the moment. Incredibly small amount of jobs for a seemingly enormous amount of people looking.

@emlarnold @PaulTHalliday I work from home and I use Fanurio for project management fanuriotimetracking.com

@brianrosa @soclarinxols @ttoniluna Thank you for the suggestion!! I will check out the research group, thanks 😊

@emlarnold You might want to take a look at our research themes @QMULGeography, and approach any colleagues. We have a growing number of externally-funded projects/fellowships in the School 👉qmul.ac.uk/geog/research/

@waynejpan I’m working on a lot of different things at the moment so just need something to help me keep track of everything. There are so many options though, it’s kinda overwhelming 🤪

@emlarnold I’m not a huge project planner so don’t use any really. Have used Asana for work and it works. :)

@unitate_fortior @CTemenos Thank you! I haven’t come across that one yet – I will check it out!
English

@waynejpan Have you worked with it? I’ve only tried playing around a little with it and it seems promising!
English

@CTemenos Thanks, appreciate the tip! I’m not an alumni as I was never a student here. I’m more concerned about losing all my software access tbh.
English

@IdaWillassen Thank you! I wasn’t able to attend but it’s such an interesting project – hope it went well! 😊

@emlarnold What pleasent news! Come see the rest of Østfold Internasjonale Teater's "In Search of Democracy 3.0"-program tomorrow if you can: The interactive installation from 11-17, the performance at 13.30 - or the aftertalk "Kunst og aktivt byborgerskap" at 15.00!

@skylinermcr @scotinoz Such an interesting observation! There’s some recent work being done on BLM murals in the US but I haven’t read any yet.
I think generally this is a new-ish (and important!) area of street art research. If I come across any relevant work on this, I’ll let you know!
English

@skylinermcr That’s an excellent question – your article is very interesting! Most street art research is concerned with place but I think what you’re asking is more about affect (+ how art might make people feel). If so, I think @scotinoz’s wonderful work would be a great place to start.
English

@bennosaurus Yes of course, that makes sense! I’m finding the Norwegian metrics-based recruitment really biased towards certain types of academics and research. And yet also very unevenly applied despite being “transparent”.
