@PeterLeeDPT I’ve had progress before with similar issues (though on a smaller scale) when we opened a case with the health inspector. They documented everything and were very helpful communicating to the landlord what his legal responsibilities were. This was in MA tho (strong tenant rights)

Doesn’t sound like renters have too many rights here in Denver, and even if i win in court, most of the money i get will go straight to lawyers. But still, would appreciate any resources or ideas. Hard to believe i’m paying more than ever for rent and have no real place to sleep.

Haven’t been on here much, dealing with my flooded place. it’s been 34 days, still no access to my living room/bedroom/bathroom, no bed to sleep on, and access to only 1/3 garage spaces d/t the repairs. This is how the landlord is handling it. Capitalism is a disease.

@seismogenic I didn’t do in-person, but I paid for expedited processing, overnighted it to the processing center, and pre-paid for them to overnight it back. This was spring 2021 when they were super backed up but I think I got it back in ~3 weeks!
