@Anatema_85 Ultimately, by itself its awesome. But having it be a sequel to a show as beloved as ATLA was just asking for criticism. It did pretty good with that pressure though

@Anatema_85 Plus, it didn't have the world-building charm of the original series and mainly focused on one city. A lot of people didn't like the seasons having their own focused story rather than an overarching one. Like I said, I liked it, but those are valid reasons not to.

Zaheer was my personal fav with Amon coming in second. Korra fails in some things and exceeds in others--same with ATLA. Comparing the two isnt fair imo

@GalaEduard8 @Anatema_85 Comparison is 100% the killer here. This show by itself is awesome --it has the music, animation, a d fun enough characters. But compared to a masterpiece like ATLA? Nothing would have stood a chance. It did pretty damn good considering that.

Let me fill you on the Avatar the last Airbender issue - Hundreds of artists worked all through even with the constant fear of losing their jobs - people were excited because it was going to be on the big screen - Production is done - Paramount says nahh guys we are putting on our streaming platform instead - people filed petitions,…crickets - In the last 48 hours, an hacker group leaked the whole movie for free - millions of people have watched it - the videos have been taken down from X, but people are sharing links to download - it is everywhere!!!!! - the only way to come back is for Paramount to release this on the big screen or lose out big time - it’s so sad to see people’s work just dumped online with no respect to creators, the corporations are evil but please the Animators that worked on this deserve a chance for their work to be shown properly. #avatar #movie #avatarthelastairbender
