@DrFrancesRyan Thank you xx I had a career I loved and now I can barely function most days - no one chooses to be this sick.

There’s been some utterly toxic media about people on out-of-work disability benefits in recent days and I really hope anyone affected is okay. You have greater value and contribute more to society than any journalist who gets paid to produce this trash for a living.

Sometimes, the best way you can support someone having a rough day is just by lending a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on. Love this poem from @emmuk74 in our brand new issue, you can find it on our website now! 🤍

@fromsarahlex I was planning on going on a local arts trail this weekend but the very few venues that say they are wheelchair accessible have a step or gravel - no that's not accessible

My mum and cousin both rang the restaurant I’ve just been to on separate occasions and checked it was wheelchair accessible, and were told it was. I got there, was taken to a side entrance, only to be met with a step. They weren’t expecting a powerchair despite mum telling them

🧵 Whilst travelling for a work meeting today, I was made to feel like a burden, simply for going about my day. Buckle up, this is a long one!

I’d forgotten about that government phone alarm thing. Just dozing off and it scared the living daylights outta me.

If you didn’t get the emergency alert and your notifications aren’t turned on I’d that because the government aren’t arsed about saving you? Is it because I’m in a wheelchair… 😂

@wagnerlass A test which they can learn from I guess. Apparently lots of us on @ThreeUK didn't get the alert. And some are saying if on home WiFi it didn't work.
