Standing Up for Democracy Today, I joined fellow Nigerians, leaders, and members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by National Chairman Sen. David Mark to participate in a peaceful "Save Democracy" protest. This event was not just an effort to protect our democracy; it was also a moment of reflection on how far we have fallen as a nation. We must resist the suffocation of our democracy by those who once claimed to have sacrificed to defend it, but are now doing everything possible to undermine it and silence opposition. History will not be kind to those who traded the struggle for democracy for the comfort of power. We will not remain silent, we will not be intimidated, and we will not surrender the future of this nation. The will of the people must prevail—stronger, louder, and impossible to suppress. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Why is it that whenever I say anything some people don't like about a player, they take that I have an agenda? I have been an Enzo guy for long. I brought him to your time line before the World Cup, backed him when we was written off under Pochettino, pushed narratives that he could be more useful as a 10 and was laughed at. But now, saying he was wrong as a vice captain to flirt with another club, saying he's incompatible with Palmer in central midfield due to OOP imbalance doesn't mean I hate him. I have also seen people call me out for saying that there is no better progressive passer at Chelsea than Barco. I didn't mention Enzo but they made it about him too. Alright, I think I have been here enough for people to know that I make emotionless analysis. I say what I feel is right. Look at Barco vs Enzo Progressive Passes (PrgP) this season, according to one-versus-one. Enzo: 370 Barco: 544 Progressive carries Enzo: 84 Barco: 103 That's only about ball progression. Of course, I have been asked who I would take between the two, and I said Enzo Fernandez. No doubt about that. Overall, he's still a better player. Barco will learn a lot from Enzo. I'm not delusional enough to think that Barco will bench Enzo at Chelsea and Argentina. I say my truth within the context of the post I'm making. If you want delusional and emotional posts, don't follow me. But if you want it undiluted, then I'm your guy. And like I said numerous times, I don't hate any Chelsea player but I will give fair analysis, good or bad.

"It's just Port Vale." What exactly do you want? To lose or play badly? I hate skepticism. It's a good performance. Be happy for the boys and hope for better performance in subsequent games. It's not like you guys will let it go if they played poorly and won 1-0. Let's be real.

Vitinha is rated ahead of Enzo Fernandez, Pedri is rated ahead of him too. Meanwhile in terms of numbers, they don't even drop the numbers he drops. If we're truly signing Barco, it's because we've seen what he could do in Midfield, Not as an AM.

And who says we are replacing Enzo Fernandez?? If that's what his fans choose, Good and fine. But let me make it clear to you guys that, Enzo Fernandez failed in his main role at Chelsea. If he was doing what he did at Benfica without scoring, you think we'll care ??

Garnet@Dehemsleyy

This is Enzo Fernandez. He is on 20G/A. now if you want to replace him.,Why not replace him quality players on the list. But it's Barco that is your upgrade. Now I have provided Barco's all time state in white for you. Let me hear what your next excuse will be

In 3 years of Tinubu in Power, One thing he has been able to plaster in Nigeria is Making Corruption a way of Life. Like, you can steal and still be bold, you can oppress and still be bold. Tinubu started it and he is gradually spreading the disease to other states.
EC@emmySam_Cfc

They're many things currently happening in Nigeria, because this current demonic Government enabled it. People now do things that before you would think twice before doing it. I once heard someone say: "If the People at the top are stealing, why shouldn't I?".

APC and Tinubu has put a kind of mindset in people that when you're there 'Fight for yourselves only'. For a Change to start, for a change to happen. Those demonic Government needs to go, they need to be cleaned off. When there's a cleansing up, people down follow suit.

"If people that have more than me and surplus are stealing, why shouldn't I". This is because the Government has enabled it, now let's imagine a country where there's no corruption, No one would think of corruption when in he's a position to make a difference.

RAWSHIELD@Rashnaking

Nigeria is a reflection of the people in it. Someone shot his shot at Victor Osimhen for a jersey and even tagged a vendor. Osimhen saw it and said he’d personally send one.
Then told the vendor to add 15 more jerseys for others. -That’s where it got interesting.- Immediately money entered, the story changed. The vendor suddenly said Osimhen told him to share it himself.
He claimed he had already picked 15 people. —Then it got worse—
He called the same person who brought him the business a scam. From there, he tried to “negotiate”:
7 for the guy, 8 for himself. Greed, plain and simple. The guy refused and asked for all 15 jerseys as instructed. —Next thing—
The vendor switched again.
Said the post was “stolen” and brought another person to justify it. —Now here’s the real problem— Instead of people calling out the wrong,
they started defending it. “Make una settle.”
“Na just jersey.”
“Let it go.” - Someone even offered to pay extra,
rewarding bad behavior. And that’s when it becomes clear: We are not different from the people we complain about in power. —This is how it starts—
small compromise, small dishonesty, small defense of wrong. Nigeria didn’t just become this way overnight.
We built it, little by little, with everyday actions like this. Truth is, many people are only “good” because they’ve not had the opportunity to do worse. One day, we will have an honest conversation about the double standards on this TL. One day.

Unpopular opinion: Nigerian 'respect culture' is often just a tool used to silence logic. Seniority does not grant you an immunity to being wrong—or being foolish.
