Both 52-week high and all-time high will be the same value if the stock attains its highest value in the year under review.

It is not as simple as you think. If you check the company's "Corporate Action", you will notice the clause "shareholders whose name appear in the Register of Shareholders/Members as at the close of business on...." As of today, I think settlement of shares (that is, for the name of someone who bought shares to appear on the company's register) is T+2, but I understand arrangements are underway to make it T+1. So, even at T+1, if you buy at the very last day, you may not be eligible.

@MudiTheInvestor Personally I feel, who ever sells his/her shares also sells the right to qualify for dividends, either at the due date or not and whoever buys the shares buys the right to qualify. But I also may be wrong!

If you believe an investor who buys shares on the qualification date is not eligible for the dividend, does that mean an existing shareholder who sells on that same date would still qualify?
