When designing Diana’s combat, I started simple. It’s an action–adventure–stealth game. There have to be punches. She has a bionic arm. So I built a combo inspired by boxing: jab, hook, spinning kick. But combat isn’t just systems.

I tried animating Diana with bones. Bone rigging in Unity is efficient: faster, flexible, and easier to tweak. But… Even though it works technically, it loses something of quality for my perspective. Frame-by-frame animation, while slower, feels more alive.
