i haven't drawn semi realistically for YEARS i kind of forgot how to render a lot of stuff especially lips. i dont like lips

@MbvBaryonix imagine something you want to draw. close your eyes (not really) sketch. this is usually my process which doesn't explain anything but i think the first best step is to embrace the imperfections of your art!! also sketch a LOT (i have tons of deleted sketches this way)

my thought process is mostly "if it looks readable then DONT CHANGE IT" i stopped focusing on perfectionism in most completed artworks bc it personally felt really dull

@AllydaWatonanso everyone makes bad art at one point of their life, its normal! when i go through the "oh my art looks bad" phase i usually go back to my roots and sketch ugly ass creatures as warmups while not expecting anything good and it helps? it might be different for other people though!
