The WORLD CUP begins tonight. Here's my top 5 favourites to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 1. Spain: Very balanced and free scoring. 2. Argentina: The defending Champions. Very experienced, solid and has the GOAT to influence tough games. 3. France: Somehow, they always find a way to win. They have been consistent in the recent World Cups. 4. Brazil: They look a bit unbalanced and disjointed at the moment but I think Ancelotti will sort them out. 5. Germany: There is no in-between with Germany. They are either very good on a day or Very bad. But with Nagelsmann, I believe they will find the right balance. Notable mentions: England and Portugal. I worry about England a bit. They look a bit rigid. They are not creating chances easily. While that's not a big problem if you have a solid defence, it could be an issue against top teams. For Portugal, they have Neves, Vitinha, Mendy coming off Champions league winning campaign with PSG. They could feel a bit fatigued down the line at the World Cup, but my major doubt is Martinez, the coach. Can he outwit some of the top managers in this competition in tight knockout games? I really don't trust him.
