The user experience on here has become atrocious. I've stuck it out because the I've loved the metal community so much, but an alternative for that now exists over at BlueSky. So if you want to find me, I'm there (same handle).

@sublationband Awesome list - Carnosus, Omnivortex, Nightmarer and Demon King basically guaranteed to make my AOTY list, but there’s several others on there I really enjoyed too

@bigfknadz Yeah, not meant to be a knock against Terria, I’ve just never been able to ‘get’ it. Seeing Deep Peace on the tour last weekend was fucking great though. Thats a special memory for Deadhead - Soundwave tour yeah? At the festival or the sideshow?

On Monday night I got to see the legendary Steve Vai! A jaw dropping 2.5 hours of virtuosity, a great mix of new and old songs and all at a venue walking distance from my Mum's place 😂

A great set with songs across their albums, I was stoked to see my fave In Technicolour 🌈 (couldn't resist an opportunity to capture some of it)

As for the gig, what an outstanding night! I found out later that Hemina were playing through some difficult personal circumstances, but you wouldn't have known it from their performance.
