I think my boyfriend and I were the cutest couple at the indoor mini golf course today. Like we were dancing and laughing and cheering on the lesbian couple behind us and at one point he had me in a headlock but it was like a chill vibe
and also they told her this over the phone while she was looking for street parking in downtown Boston and then she had to hang up and go to work and SMILE and HELP PEOPLE for six hours until she could finally go home and deal with the issue bc that's what happened to me today
she wasn't paying her bill but actually she was paying someone else's bill and instead of coming to fix the issue national grid just told her it was her fault and that she needed to make an appointment to set up a new service and the earliest appointment wasn't until the next day
If you're ever at a restaurant and your server has tears in her eyes, consider that maybe National Grid disconnected her electricity while she was in the shower getting ready for work because apparently her account has been connected to the wrong meter since July so they thought
John and I decided to stay home for the Super Bowl and I started eating a mini cupcake and he goes "You're eating a cupcake? What are you doing? We haven't even eaten apps yet. This is supposed to be a Super Bowl party. That's a third quarter snack."
One of my worst days in Minnesota was when it snowed on Valentines Day and I got out of a shift and the highways weren't even slightly plowed or sanded + I cried the whole way home. Last night I counted ten, TEN, sanding trucks on my way home and shouted I LOVE YOU BOSTONNN 🤘🏻💚

Yesterday I did my civic duty of voting for the non-rapist candidate fully knowing that a black woman could never get elected by our deeply, deeply misogynistic and racist nation, and then I went and saw my favorite Swedish pop star and danced the night away!
