@WillManidis It's fascinating that the aesthetic reaction to this has been the proliferation of "cottage core," "old money stylr" etc. but the way it's done is just the same slop with extra steps. All just feeding the algorithm.

every "new transplant" city in the US has taken on the same slop aesthetic. austin, nashville, scottsdale -- all of them embody the same kind of beer garden yuppieism. scooters and axe throwing, plastic apartments and group fitness. no history, just remote first jobs.

@camelia_mfa Miranda definitely would’ve cared. I could imagine a scene of Steve letting it slip that he voted for Giuliani and she thinks hes an idiot and is super passive aggressive about it
