Ultimately the event was not just about physical wash bags but about the vital work of destigmatising sexual violence. It was encouraging to see so many influential people coming together to talk openly about the issue and take practical action together. 👏

Yesterday, I was delighted to be part of a reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by The Queen to mark the relaunch of Her Majesty's Wash Bag project which distributes bags containing essential toiletries to Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) across the country.
