Chelsea had the chance to sign Enrique before PSG and he was willing but we failed to accept his demands for control. PSG came around and gave it to him. And they reaping the rewards. I also believe that we could've kept Maresca if we offered that. I think Chelsea have realised their mistake and are more willing now to offer the next manager greater say in recruitment and football related decisions. If we hire the right manager, we are going to have a lot of success with that model.

BREAKING UPDATE: We are receiving a fresh morning report that Hon. Nafi’u Bala, who claims leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), is expected to withdraw the court case he filed on Monday, 4/5/2026. This follows a meeting held between elders from Gombe State and his family members. The report says Alhaji Musa Garba from Gombe State led a delegation of elders who met with Nafi’u’s parents to urge him to withdraw the case in the interest of public peace. In another development, it was reported that the elders attempted to reach Nafi’u Bala by phone during the meeting, but he did not answer. However, one of Nafi’u’s parents confirmed that they will reach him immediately to inform him of the outcome of the discussions.
