i once saw a levi edit with a greek song playing in the background and it referred to erwin as general kolokotronis from the revolution of 1821. so these are my erwin variants so far

one thing i ADORE about eren (and relate to) is his way with words n persuasion skills. his speech always reeks of metaphors and hyperboles while he's discussing about a topic he's passionate about, and i think this is glaringly obvious in the first episodes / volumes.

the only exception to this is whenever i hc a character as trans (i usually also like them as cis i just think it'd be nice to add to the story), but this doesn't count as a full on genderbend cuz only one's gender was altered. e.g knmf w tmasc mafu and akty w tfem toya

it cant be just me who can never fully get invested in genderbend designs for a ship they like. this doesn't only apply to yuri to yaoi or the opposite i just have trouble seeing the characters as the same person it just doesn't feel the same even if the dynamics are identical😭

@rati0logist exactly!! and when we do not conform to gender norms we get made fun of for not even trying 🤦‍♂️ in greece we have an idiom for this: "in the front a cliff and behind a river" basically when both of your options are absolutely horrendous
