Kabushenga’s Thoughts A School of Life Finally I have figured it out. If anything crystallized it for me, it is the group photo. I am talking about an idea that has now become Kabushenga’s School of Life. This, to the delight of my cheerleaders who refused to give up on me. These, my unwavering champions include early believers like @Rukwengye, @Ruthaine, @Soloestee @smuhoza & lately Solome Kinuma with Vanessa Akinyange. The latter two have gotten me to help people move from Dreams To Actions. In June 2021, I took to social media platforms to do some mentoring. Part of the reason was that I was inundated by individual requests to do this. I simply couldn’t do it one on one. I wouldn’t find time for anything else. This platform worked perfectly and it did. That is when Ruth & Solo decided that I should transition it into a coaching gig. I did & failed. I was not ready. I hadn’t thought through what exactly I was going to do. I quietly dropped it. Or so I thought. The requests kept coming for speaking engagements & I obliged. The content became hugely popular & went viral. The feedback was that it had a lot share & people could learn a lot. I also kept getting calls from individuals I know for different perspectives that they told me was very useful. And so the pressure came back for me to institutionalize this role. I kept putting it off. Then Solo, as we call him, took me in a direction I had been avoiding. The response took me by surprise. A pleasant surprise. He took me to TikTok, uploaded the content & it exploded. The feedback from everyone was that I have a lot to offer by way of mentoring & my arrival on that platform was timely. One morning I was having coffee with Solome to review another project when Vanessa came by to say hello. I introduced them & shared an idea which both of them, having met for the first time that morning, agreed without much discussion I should act on. That is how #Envision2026 engagement happened. I now know what the format for this work should be & how it can deliver benefit. I’m now ready if you are. Get in touch if you need my help to move you from dreaming to achieving.
