Now, the focus shifts to the future. The Board is mapping the road to 2026 and beyond, shaping RBM's new 2026-2030 strategic framework: #Unity30. This meeting is pivotal for aligning the partnership to counter challenges and accelerate the fight.

Amid a complex funding environment & multiple threats to malaria progress, the RBM Board is reflecting on the partnership's 2025 "Big Push" a united effort to keep malaria high on the global agenda.

Through his leadership, SMC scaled from 2 to 18 countries, protecting over 53 million children in 2023 alone. The RBM Partnership extends its deepest condolences to his family & colleagues. We will continue the fight in his memory. Rest in peace, Professor.

We mourn the loss of Prof. Jean Louis Abdourahim Ndiaye. A visionary scientist & beloved colleague, his pivotal research on Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention changed the course of malaria control & saved millions of young lives. His legacy is immense. His humility was inspiring.
