I’m very proud and happy to be part of the oDIN project alongside many other great contributors and @AarhusUni One particularly unique aspects is that there is no IPR - no results can be patented. This is to focus on the science and bridging the Uni-Industry gap more efficiently.

@aledmedwards This is both an interesting as well as an important problem - how to educate, motivate and empower the orthogonal and trans-disciplinary thinker and doer? Seems like trad. edu and industry is suppressing it - but with exceptions ofc. Anyone with good and practical solutions?

Lots of talk now about the importance of gov't labs in society. To be prepared for the future, gov’t labs need to celebrate and retain innovators and orthogonal thinkers. But those traits are not rewarded in many gov't organizations (understatement). An interesting problem.
