i can confirm if you are talking to AI with just your keyboard you are missing out. Get a good voice to text software now and speak raw unfiltered ideas to your AI. much better output consistently.

597 days ago I was sitting in Matteo's AirBnB in Torino, Italy. This was the first official meeting discussing the birth of Etch, the pathway to reaching our one million dollar funding goal, and how we were going to communicate the vision to the team. Today we're releasing v1.0. We're proud of what we built and we're proud of how the market is responding to it. 2026 is the year of Etch.

@sunnytrochaniak 😬 there was irony in my intention to attribute something so absurd to a translation problem.

@endriu_s I host & maintain their sites. They hired a cheap developer to build a new site, which killed their Google rankings. I pointed out the problems, and now they said they're going to move everything to the cheap developer so that there's only one team managing everything.

UPDATE: after I let the company know their site is no longer on Google, they decided they wanted to move everything under one roof to 'restore reliability & accountability.' So they're moving all hosting and care plans to the dev team that killed the site. Ya love to see it 🫠
Sunny Trochaniak@sunnytrochaniak

A company asked me for a proposal to redesign their site, and ended up going for an agency that was 4x cheaper. Their new site - which has been live for 2 weeks now - has this boxed checked. Their site is no longer on Google 😬.

Anything less than maxed out here and we can't be friends. In fact, I don't even know why they put a slider here. Should just be a toggle for people who want to opt-in to molasses mode.

Today’s unplanned comedy episode: hopped on a podcast call, I thought he invited me, he thought I invited him. Two hosts, no guests, just us laughing at our scheduling fail. Hilarious! A great end to the week!

Hey @Starbucks - serving a drink like this is aggravating. Nobody wants to drink straight cream and since I’m in a vehicle, I’m unable to stir it up. Also, I came to Starbucks today because I wasn’t interested in being my own barista. Please stop doing this nonsense.

@mor3sea @peduarte @diabrowser Air Traffic Control is a feature in Arc Browser that helps you manage and organize the links you open. Instead of having a chaotic mess of tabs, ATC allows you to segregate and categorize them into specific "spaces”

Went to the ER Saturday 2:30pm with a suspected hernia above my belly button. Cerber at triage fought hard but let me in. 30min wait. Internist → 5min later surgeon tries to push it back. No luck. Nurse takes over. 3 IV drips, ECG, USG, X-ray, bloodwork. Surgeon comes back after relaxants, still no luck. Pain off the charts, so calmly says: “Ok, we’ll operate.” Prep. By 9pm I’m on the table. Sleep. Wake up in a cozy bed. Slept the night. Discharged 1pm next day. Thank you 🇵🇱 NFZ. Service 10/10. I’m amazed.

Container Queries are going to change how pattern libraries are created. For example, this is one card, let's call it "Blog Card Alpha." Yet, it has 3 very different variations that are all automatically swapped to with CQs. So we do the work to create three variations, but we can only market is as one "pattern" since it's one component. Frames has always marketed patterns like this, btw. Most pattern libraries lie to buyers, claiming they have 10x as many patterns as they actually have. For example, they'll create "Hero Alpha" with an image on the right and "Hero Bravo" is just them moving the image to the left. You could have done that yourself in 2 seconds, but they did it for you and called it a new pattern. Once they do that kind of stuff across their entire library, they get to claim that they have "1000 patterns!" when really they have like 100. Hard to blame them I guess, since it works on most users. But it's going to get even more interesting in the era of container queries.
