Plausible deniability is when politicians deny knowledge or responsibility for actions, particularly to shield against accountability by maintaining a "plausible" story of ignorance. This is where Dan O’Donnell comes in, saying all everything rightwing politicians spread but won’t get caught saying, communicating to “the base” in ways Trump and others won’t. Dan’s job is gross, but clearly, DAN LOVES HIS JOB. Gets a salary, access, a sizable audience of active syncopates, and the occasional pat on the back from a politician who struggles to remember his name. Sad sad sad sad sad sad.

Hey everyone, I want to take a moment to offer my sincerest apologies for a post I made about Minnesota's Governor that, quite frankly, I am deeply ashamed of. What is happening in the Twin Cities and the Great North Star State is heartbreaking to witness. These events have cost lives and shaken families — and we must call for accountability, transparency, and protections for all people. This moment demands that we reflect honestly on what our values truly are. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with the families of Renée Good and Alex Pretti. Senator, it’s time to stop funding them. Entirely. Not just ICE. Not just DHS. No funding for the federal government. Shut it down. All of it. Nuanced measures do nothing. No CRs. No funding for anything. Just say no. They are out of control.
