Dear Dog lovers, Let me help. No, your dog does not "love" you. An animal does not understand what "love" is. Their brains are not complex enough. Stop projecting human emotions onto dogs, just because you want to. They are attached to you, because you are source of their food. Stray dogs are hunters. No, they don't attack humans randomly because most of us are bigger than them. An animal does not risk getting into a fight they might lose. Remember animals don't know about hospitals. If an animal gets a leg injured in a fight, it is gone forever. And it might starve to death. This is why even a lion will try not to pick a fight with a giraffe. Even a lion is very risk averse. So the stray dogs you see as "friends" simply lie in wait. For a child who is too small, or someone they sense is old and infirm. By the way, the bite force of a dog is very weak when compared to most animals. So their instinct is to attack in packs and bite off flesh in bits, while their prey stays alive. This is what you are unleashing on us, in your crazy superstition that dogs are your "friend."

If you teach your kids to love animals, they don’t just grow up as animal lovers - they grow up as better human beings.
