the problem with this #wolves roster is that mcdaniels is the only player preventing the spurs from opening the floodgates of drive to the basket layups. their bigs are too busy stopping wemby. so when mcdaniels go foul trouble, everything goes bad.

@RADeMita i could do more harm than good tbh. coming out rusty is a real issue in the playoffs, often the reason why homecourt teams lose a game 1.

@realtalkejlt the problem with randle in this series is that he is a midranged scorer and a drive to the basket scorer, both things wemby locks up when he is on the floor, so in the end, he is reduced to a 3 pt shooter and shooting 2pt shots near the 3pt line

Rui would deadass be way more beneficial for the Timberwolves in this series than Julius Randle

@whatsontapnba mcdaniels is quite literally the worst matchup against wemby. he is too skinny so wemby just go to the post without much resistance, and he is too short obviously. i don't know why coach finch like this matchup. and i'm a spurs fan at that

There’s a difference between frustrating Wemby by getting delay of games for pushing him around, and ACTUALLY making him work. Stop taking Rudy out of the paint to guard Wemby. Get low-gravity, physical defenders that make him tired and force him to shoot. Randle. Naz. Even Shannon and Ant. Jaden is a terrible matchup because all of Jaden’s advantages don’t matter with Wemby

the real difference of this game 5 #spurs vs #wolves is the coaching changes. coach finch's inability to remedy the double teaming of edwards by the spurs have been a big issue. on the defensive side, they went on to a zone defense but spurs are great midranged shooters
