As an Armenian citizen, President Putin's position is extremely understandable and expected to me. Russia has long sought clarity from Armenia - a clear stance on what it aims to do. Ordinary people/various experts/commentators, etc. can assume and say many things, but relations between states and leaders should be as clear as possible, especially when we are talking about a state with very limited capabilities. You cannot "hide" anything. So, Pashinyan's color revolution-installed regime and its satellites cannot continue making hostile anti-Russian moves, constantly provoking Russia, and constantly smearing Russia while worshipping the West and talking about "joining the EU," and at the same time enjoying the immense benefits that ties with Russia give Armenia. There are no threats whatsoever in his speech, as some people claim. Just stop playing games, let the Armenian public be completely aware of the natural consequences of potential decisions, and stop "acting crazy and inadequate" (this is what Pashinyan once described himself as in a conversation with Putin, by the way). A straightforward, measured and entirely transparent statement.

🇦🇲🇷🇺🇪🇺 President Putin on Armenia and the EU: "As for Armenia's plans to join the EU, this of course requires special consideration. We have discussed this with PM Pashinyan. I have said several times that we support everything that is beneficial for the Armenian people. We have a special relationship with the Armenian people that has lasted for centuries, and if a particular decision benefits the Armenian people, we won't oppose it. But of course, we must keep in mind certain circumstances that are important both for us and for our partners. For example, our trade turnover with Armenia is 7 billion, while Armenia's GDP is 29 billion, so this is a serious figure. Armenia also receives significant advantages within the EAEU. This concerns agriculture, the processing industry, customs and other duties, the migration sphere, and so on. In my view, it would be the correct thing, both toward the citizens of Armenia and toward us as the main economic partner, to determine this as soon as possible. This is not our business, but for example, holding a referendum would be completely logical, asking the citizens of Armenia what their choice will be. In accordance with that, we would also make the corresponding choice and proceed along the path of a soft, intelligent, and mutually beneficial separation."

If our ancestors hadn’t been so naive and weak during the First World War, if they had fought like the Armenians did then we wouldn’t be listening to this ignorant garbage by @Ninadrama @ArmanUfc today. @ArmanUfc, your words didn’t impress me at all. In the real world, politically and economically the Kurdistan Region carries far more weight than Armenia ever has. You both owe the Kurdish people a serious apology. #Kurds have a country. It’s called #Kurdistan. Our lands have been occupied and divided by artificial borders drawn by invaders but those lines mean nothing to us. They never have and never will. We Kurds stood on the front lines and sacrificed over 30,000 martyrs fighting ISIS while your country and the world watched. We stopped those monsters from turning the entire region and your precious Western countries into a battlefield. Without us, you would have been living under ISIS rule as slaves. So keep your opinions to yourself until you learn some basic history and respect before you open your mouth.

@engsited @RomaniaMare1918 Silence heretic. Your lies are not good currency here. Remember, lacking in all honesty, you lack dignity. Lacking all dignity, you lack honour. Such a disgraceful existence you lead. The only reason your soul doesn't scream in horror is that it as rotten as the rest of you.

The Ancient Roots of Kurds: From 570 CE to Hasakah Today In 570 CE, a letter was sent from the Church of the Kurdish Hill and Kurdish monasteries near Damascus to Constantinople—65 years before the Arab Muslim conquests. Historical records document these Kurdish Christian communities and the enduring name of Tal Kurdi, preserved for nearly 1,450 years. Today, this deep-rooted identity and language face suppression in the heart of West Kurdistan in Hasakah by those whose ancestors arrived much later, often with Western blessing. #KurdishHistory #Hasakah #TellKurdi #Rojava #AncientSyria
