We say research in this context is: look through the ISSTD, read Dr. Loewenstein's works, learn about structural dissociation, and learn about CPTSD

i mostly agree with the sentiment that doing research on dissociative disorders is good. but, one has to wonder, what is the kind of "research" that people mean when they tell you to do research? what does it mean to do research?

@thornstaffs What's really confusig is WHY, just why, would endos want to act like they fall in the same category if they don't have any issues—that they know of—that makes them be a system of some kind. I mean, it's debilitating when you can't remember shit following days at a time...

@oiemarcela @Frankieshrzny1 Helps me a great extent, but so does walking. I mean, if it's late and I've already got the heating pad set up and it's not doing anything. It'll help me. Then again, not sure how y'alls cramps go.

@enigthiph Of a system, nor what a System was. We've had these alters carry out a day or few without even knowing it. In the people I talk with who also has the disorder all present different kinds of Amnesia (Some are light, some are strong etc etc)

Trying to find out your a system is seriously one of the most daunting things to research bc of ppl online (From my experience), I pray that any questioning systems never fall in the hands of an Endo because it's prob the most damaging things to go through

@enigthiph 3. Everyone experiences it slightly differently, I personally have low amnesia barriers but do have emotional amnesia for example (I do not consider myself disordered enough for DID despite having most prerequisites)
