@GigaBasedDad That book is about doing the bare minimum that any leader should do when they mess up. There's nothing extreme about it. You're the leader, you own it. Should have been a pamphlet. But I guess it's an okay entry point for people who weren't taught how to lead.

@ScottTruhlar Everything comes in cycles. CT Surgery was in boom times until angioplasty came along, then it cratered, and then re-bounded after long-term outcome data on stents vs bypass came out. Now ozempic will crash it again. Anesthesiology was a ghost town in the 90s due to CRNAs.

Just did a zoom call with a dude in Houston & walked him through programming his Baofeng handheld radio using easy to use free software He uploaded several repeater data sets & created a chanel list for them Then set his radio to scan those chanels and was able to pick up conversations happening in real time near his area Blew his mind In a SHTF grid-down situation you will want to be able to receive (and potentially transmit) information He can now tune in on his radio and instantly hear the emergency weather frequency, or flip channels to different active repeaters and listen in plus one-button he can listen to FM radio stations same as you would in your truck to hear music Went from zero knowledge to base line capable to establish coms in about an hours time I might consider doing this for more folks every weekend via zoom Let me know if you’re interested by replying below Free of charge.
