It's clear that Arabic is not his first language and he speaks from memory. Kitaba and kataba mean almost the same thing thing. Kitaba - “writing” or “the act of writing” and Kataba - “he wrote”. Also, you left the part where he explicitly says that k-t-b is the root word from second 43 onwards. Did you just say that you can't spell letters with a pronunciation?? You are actually slow. In English, especially in English the same sound can be spelled multiple ways. So you confirmed you are slow?

@entaisdiary @modban Lol ur are pathetic. He literally said the root word is ki-ta-ba which is wrong. U can't spell letters with a pronunciation lol. There's no ktb in the Arabic alphabets. There's ka ta and ba. So no ki-ta-ba is not a root word.

@king_shaze @modban You can't follow what is being said in the video. He is arguing that the root word for al-kitab is ka-ta-ba, he then spelled the letters k-t-b with different pronunciation. And your smart ass just pointed that out leaving the argument in the air.

The analogy between Israel and the Church is not quite parallel since in Matthew 16:18 we are told that the church Christ will establish will not be prevailed: "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." We are also told that the Church is the body of Christ: "And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way." - Ephesians 1:22-23 "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues." - 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 Therefore, I don't see the parallel with Israel at all since the Church is the body of Christ. The institution which you trust with the Bible but not everything else. Also, how do you deal with the fact that Christians believed in work and faith for salvation and not you 16th century faith alone thing? If we use your logic and say that you are saved just by believing in Christ, they didn't just believed in Him. They held to tradition much more than to the bible, because that was their only source of knowledge. That means according to you they've been in huge error, therefor most of them didn't make it make to heaven.

🎸 Matt 🎸@ChristandGuitar·
Both Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox claim to be the "one true Church" with apostolic succession on their side. Both ask: "Would the Holy Spirit allow the Church to fall into error for 1500 years?" My answer: Yeah, I think He would - Just the same as Israel was allowed to fall into error time and time again. The fact that the 2 split in 1054 and both claim exclusive fidelity to the apostles means, logically, at least one of them has been wrong for nearly 1,000 years. They can't both be right. This should motivate Protestants to dig into Scripture and church history. One (or both) of these institutions has error on important points. Scripture, being God's Word, is our anchor for everything. This is not the strawman of "every Christian for 1500 years went to hell before Martin Luther came along." Christ has always saved His people by grace through faith - even when the visible institutions went off the rails.

It's not true that only Argos recognized him. His wife Penelope recognized from the first time. When she met him, she asked him to end this by telling her what she should do. When Penelope made the men to string the bow she told her son to let his father do it. She wanted to see if he would put effort to get her back.

Homer Pavlos
Homer Pavlos@HomerPavlos·
Odysseus was away from his home for 20 years, ten years fighting in the Trojan War and ten more years struggling at sea before being "washed ashore" in Ithaca, at his home. After everything he endured, he returned to Ithaca alone, aged, weary, burdened with suffering and sorrow, and unrecognizable to everyone. Dressed in rags so no one would recognize him, he was accompanied by Eumaeus, the swineherd, who also did not recognize him. As they approached the palace, Odysseus saw Argos, his beloved dog and friend who had missed him during his time in Ilion (Troy), now in a very miserable state. Homer describes Argos as covered in ticks, neglected, lying still as if waiting for something, his death, but not quite ready yet. A brief conversation takes place over Argos between Odysseus and Eumaeus, after which Odysseus enters the hall with the suitors. Now, Argos is ready to die. He can finally take his last breath, as the moment he had waited for over 20 years had arrived, he saw his best friend one last time. His longing and hope for the return of his master had kept him alive for 20 whole years. Only Argos recognized him. The hero Odysseus, deeply moved, could not hold back a tear, which he secretly wiped away so that Eumaeus wouldn’t see it and suspect something. "νόσφιν απομόρξατο δάκρυ" "he secretly wiped away his tear." Homer writes: Rhapsody ρ, Line 290 Thus they were speaking to each other, But the dog, lying down, lifted his head and ears; Argos, Odysseus’ faithful dog, whom he once raised but never got to enjoy, as Odysseus left early for sacred Ilion (Troy). 295. ... lying in a pile of dung spilled in front of the gates by mules and cattle, which the servants took to fertilize Odysseus' estate. 300. There Argos lay, full of ticks. The moment he sensed Odysseus near him, he wagged his tail and lowered both ears, but he couldn’t get up to reach him. Odysseus saw him from afar and secretly wiped away his tear so Eumaeus wouldn’t notice, and then he asked him: 305. "A wonder, this dog, Eumaeus, lying in the manure. He is good in body, but I’m not sure if he’s as swift as he is beautiful, or if he’s one of those table-fed dogs of men, kept only as an ornament by lords." 325. As he said this, he entered the well-built house and went straight into the hall with the shining suitors. And the fate of black death seized Argos, immediately after he saw Odysseus for the first time in twenty years.. Homer Pavlos✍️

I never said he doesn't ask for donations in different ways. I said I've barely heard him ask directly in the sense they try to portray it as if he is asking his viewers for money every stream. The clips in the video are purposefully selected to seem as if he is activelly asking for money. I simply pointed out that its easy to make it seem that way since he's been streaming for a long time.

@CiaranMurchadha Muslims can't believe God can make a woman conceive miraculously. They limit him to their own mental construct of what God is, which is a sin according to Orthodox teachings.

That is not a Christians believe, its a Catholic believe. That is like bringing Shia Ghulat telling you that Ali is the manifestation or incarnation of the divine and say that is what muslims believe. Also, even though we avoid using such language, having a spouse doesn't mean having sexual intercourse as Taymiyyah states. Where he later states that it would be impossible to bear a child otherwise, which is low IQ argument since we believe God can make do anything.

"The Church didn’t create the Bible. The Bible created the Church." This is false. Christ found his Church, not the Bible - "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." Matthew 16:18 Moreover, the Church exists BEFORE the Bible. Ho could've the Bible created the Church if it didn't even exist? The Church added and removed parts from the Bible. It wasn't just "community", random Christians coming together as if going to a club party. Assigned members of the Church compiled the Bible. Councils were called and gradually the Church decided what to add and remove. The first part is not entirely true. The exact boundaries of the Old Testament canon were still somewhat fluid in the 1st century. Different Jewish groups valued somewhat different collections.

Most of the Old Testament was already considered sacred Scripture by the Jews long before Jesus or the early Church existed. The canon developed gradually over time through the believing community being guided by the Holy Spirit. The early Church merely recognized which books were already authoritative and inspired, rather than deciding what to include based on their own preferences. The Church didn’t create the Bible. The Bible created the Church.

There are types of sacrifices in the Old Testament such as burnt offering, sin offering, peace offering, grain offering and so on. Sacrifice for them was like bringing food to a party, it was a gift and a way to show respect. In this instance, its the transitional covenantal period. In Acts 21, Paul participates in Temple to maintain unity with Torah-observant Jews. The offering was connected to ritual purification and vows, not a replacement for Christ’s atonement and sin offering. It's clear from the chapter.

Christians, if Jesus on the cross was the final blood sacrifice ALTOGETHER, Why did James Instruct Paul to go to the temple and make an animal Sacrifice? Wouldnt that mean the earliest Christians still believed in animal sacrifice?!

We don't believe that the church is just and only about Christ. Like a fan club about him or something. But rather it's the living body of Christ on earth. "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it." - 1 Corinthians 12:27 "and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all." - Ephesians 1:22-23 We know thay the Gospel is Christ himself and the Church His body on earth. Therefore, the Church is the living manifestation and guardian of the Gospel. Historically, the Gospel was read to people by the Church since 1) people couldn't read and 2) the Bible wasn't compiled until the late 4th century.
