Al principio ignoré la IA por completo. Honestamente no me parecía útil.
Pasaba más tiempo peleando con ChatGPT que produciendo cosas de valor.
Ahora tengo un asistente funcional que maneja partes importantes de mi vida profesional y personal... desde cero, en unos meses.
Estamos en un momento muy importante para cualquier trabajador en cualquier industria.
Pero hacer cosas más fácil y barato no es lo mismo que saber qué hacer. Hay mucha desinformación, poca práctica real y casi nada de calidad en español.
Por eso yo y unos amigos estamos haciendo exactamente esto:
Workshops sin teoría vacía, sin promesas, solo las herramientas que usamos nosotros todos los días.
Es momento de perderle el miedo a todo esto y ponerse a pie de cañón.

Have been thinking about this all day. And honestly I still hate it.
EF can talk about CROPS all day, but they are still selling ETH on Kraken.
Not borrowing on Morpho, Aave, Sky, not even "dump" on DEXes. They let kraken, instead of their own VM, control their funds.
How is that supporting open source or CR?
There's no doubt that EF is building amazing technology with principles, but why do I feel like they just never, ever actually "use" their own chain?
Am I the biggest moron to still believe in Ethereum?

0/ This view is utopian, idealistic, and aligned with the cypherpunk mandate of the original crypto believers.
It will also be incredibly toxic for real world asset issuers beyond the point of stablecoins.

i'm not sure how or why we're still getting things out of the EF that doesn't seem to address the legitimate concerns from everyone around
with Tomasz "nothing" changed as far as values, but the direction and messaging sounded much more aligned/less conflicting
i can't point to what's the issue exactly, but there's definitely a constant disconnect that i hoped would by resolved by now :/
i get all EFers are bullish on this, but would be very good to have actual answers and compromises rather than just narrative-driven justifications to decisions

@AndyGuzmanEth unfortunately EF still sets the narrative for the whole Ethereum (or at least the public/market perceives it that way), so let's hope these other companies you mention are not affected by it

The think that Dankrad misses is that, *precisely* the cypherpunk values is what makes this whole industry values
Take that away and you're competing with web2 infra
Granted, execution NEEDS to happen with urgency and desire to make an impact. But not at the expense of scarifying what makes you relevant in the first place

EF, last year: Hey, we want to listen to you users to make Ethereum better. EF, now: Jk, we looked at the real world. We don't like building for it after all, we'll go back to building cypherpunk stuff only. This is the EF going back to its old ways, undoing the changes from last year. I have feared this would happen because Vitalik clearly wasn't in with his heart. But whatever they say about the "ecosystem" being able to take care of this, the fundamental problems remain: - there are very few voices in ACD caring about real world Ethereum usage - there is nobody doing Ethereum BD (everyone else who is doing this also has their own separate interests)

so you see the EF posted a new Mandate that's a proxy for the hardline Cypherpunks against the Pragmatist Turn and there's this new mantra called CROPs. and like Milady's are involved somehow and the machine elves and DMT. and technically its an internal doc but like posted publicly so it's kind of a signal about subtraction-by-proxy. and there's a conspiracy theory that Nick Land is involved. it all goes back to the Populist Revolt in 2025 when people were unhappy about ETH performance and app building and like the EF did this Co-Director thing and it lasted for about a year and kinda changed things but now it's like kinda unclear if it's reverting or we have a new hybrid thing and
