This is utterly disappointing, @danielaureltv. You mentioned “reports” multiple times but didn’t credit @entrackr, which actually broke the story and published the exclusive details your piece referred to. Basic journalistic courtesy and attribution shouldn’t be optional. @firstpost

What started with Pronto has now widened into a larger debate around Physical AI, consent, and data collection inside Indian homes. After @Entrackr report, UC denied any such initiatives, while Snabbit clarified that it explored a proposal from Human Archive but walked away. 🧵

The company’s statement seems fair overall. But the line saying “Human Archive’s technology was conducted inside a controlled training-centre environment” raises obvious questions. 1. An NDA was signed 2. Controlled training centres were created That shows some level of activity or experimentation may indeed have taken place. It’s good that the company has taken full responsibility and issued a clear denial regarding any deployment inside customer homes.

Entrackr investigation: Days after our report on Pronto’s Physical AI linked data collection experiments, competitor Snabbit has also come under focus. Snabbit confirmed that Y Combinator-backed Human Archive approached the company, but the talks did not move forward. 🧵

NEW: India’s next AI debate may not start inside data centres. It may start inside homes. Our latest story on Pronto raises questions around how household workflows could become training data for Physical AI and robotics systems. A🧵
