We have been carrying out inspections of our flood defence assets following the high water levels. The high water mark is clearly visible on this floodgate in Upton-upon-Severn. We also inspected flood defence outfalls along the River Severn between Tewkesbury and Gloucester.

We’re taking action against illegal waste dumping at Blackpole Recycling in Worcester. A court has granted our application for a restriction order which allows us to prevent access to the site. We’re working with police and other partners to ensure no more waste is deposited.
