Still so much to learn about different venoms. For example, the mechanisms of Chironex fleckeri often unknown and there is no consensus on how to treat exposures at this point.

1. The injection of a poisonous material by sting, spine, bite, or other similar means.
Envenoming:
1. To make poisonous or noxious.
2. To embitter.
We typically use “envenomation”. Though I’m sure the English and Aussies will jump in soon to defend your point.
