I’m going to go ahead and say how I feel.
This is just my personal opinion but from what I have seen, I feel the Fortnite team have made a season where, on reflection, Season 2 will be considered a top 5 of *ALL TIME* contender when it’s over.

The DOWNFALL of Fortnite is happening…
- The game is changing too fast and too much, to the point where it feels like a money printer (too many new cosmetics, too many game modes…)
- Fortnite is spamming collaborations to drive more sales
- Fortnite brought back OG characters and lore in hopes of bringing OG players back and making more money
- Fortnite increased V-Bucks prices because they apparently need more money, while paying out millions monthly to “brainrot” maps
- Fortnite has laid off over 1,000 employees, including many who helped shape the game into what it is today
It is too obvious now. It‘s about the $
As much as I like this game, their decisions have led us to where we are now & it‘s not looking good.
The release of GTA 6 is likely going to make it even worse ✌️

Is everyone being replaced by A.I. at Epic Games?
Just 1 year ago Tim Sweeney said Fortnite had BILLIONS of dollars in the bank and they were good financially. Why are they laying off 1,000 employees now?
"We've chosen to re-invest heavily in building what we think is the future of technology." Sooooo is that AI?
I originally posted this clip 2 weeks ago when the V-Bucks shrinkflation happened. My original theory was that they invested HEAVILY in an AI company or acquired one and need to recoup their investment
Now after today's news of everyone getting fired my theory seems even more possible.
What do you think is going on? How can Tim say they are more than good financially and then literally 1 year later all of this happens? Tim what happened?

Have you stopped playing Fortnite as much due to the persistent skill based match making issue? Have you completely stopped playing specifically because of SBMM?
Please be respectful and don't lash out at Fortnite, Epic Games or any players or staff with your comment. I want to have a real discussion and hear real constructive feedback
@Fortnite @FortniteStatus @JustTeddii PLEASE we need you to respond to the overwhelming outcry from the community about SBMM. It has felt non-existent since the bug season in chapter 6. It felt perfect in Chapter 5. What happened?
A LOT of people are playing less or have given up the game completely because they will literally go hundreds of games without being able to get a victory. We the common player want a challenge but also we want to feel like we have a chance.
Yes this is a skill issue. I am not good enough to be in the vast majority of lobbies I am put in with Fortnite. I love this game and it breaks my heart to see people leave because of something that could be easily fixed. I look forward to hearing your response.
