Its interesting. Nonprofits are doing a lot of spinning out of for-profits and carefully considering Benefit and Flexible Purpose options.

Take a look at the Philanthropy Facilitation Act that introduced in the House to help program related investments.

Governor Brown signed SB 201 last night -- the Flexible Purpose Corporation bill. Also signed Benefit Corporation bill AB 361.
