A #GeneralElection has been announced 🚨 The Tobacco and Vapes Bill is one of the most significant public health interventions in living memory. We're calling on all parties to ensure this world-leading Bill is passed through before this Parliament ends. Smoking causes around 150 cases of cancer every day and places huge pressure on @NHSuk. Saving lives must transcend politics, and nothing would have a bigger impact on reducing the number of preventable deaths than ending smoking. #InTheNews

After nearly 23 years @CR_UK @CRUKShops attended my last Division North meeting ! I retire 3 weeks today and @JuliaStewardson @missgillbe1 kindly worked out how much income my teams over the years have contributed a STAGGERING £44 MILLION!!!! Towards beating cancer - job done! ❤️
