Angel Page. Creative. Dyspraxic. Lots More… 💕✨
It’s my dual poetic birthday today… the 16th anniversary of my first poem, and my 10th as host of #VerseAngel prompts. Coincidentally, it’s also #WorldPoetryDay!! I have a blog post for it coming up. Also, Catch Me If You Can!! I might read something in unrecorded Spaces!! 💕✨

Yes I think context is key. It can be said rudely, but for me it is a self reminder that even though I can do so many things, it’s probably best for me to stay focused on what I was hired to do and let others do what they were hired to do. I’m less stressed and more rested since I decided to stay in my lane.

@epodcaster I've thought of it as sticking with what you're good at or known for, usually said by people who didn't want your opinion.

When you hear the phrase, “Stay in your lane.” What does that mean to you personally?

@thejavakat LOL. Of course you are insightful. It was interesting to see how different people perceive/understand what “stay in your lane” means to them.

@meeplesandwine @Listener I have been quite happy with the ability to see an aggregate of reach via episode clusters. But over the last couple of weeks it stopped being visible. No bueno.

@Listener : Tech support request. Sent originally via email, but have not seen issue resolved yet. Episode Clusters goes to a white error page. None of the clusters created via AI automation or manually are visible. Please advise. Need to submit a report and am paying for Pro in order to make that process easier. Many thanks.

Youngest son and I were introduced to Andy Weir with The Martian while he was going through cancer treatments. We’d take turns reading chapters to one another. Then months later the movie came out and we saw the book come to life. While some of our favorite scenes didn’t make the cut, the movie did the book justice. When we read Project Hail Mary, this time all these years later on our own, we both thought it was a worthy tale. We also read Artemis, but for some reason that story fell flat for both of us. Naturally with the Project Hail Mary movie on the horizon we are excited to see the heartwarming and action packed story come to life. I already know tissues will be needed. I feel Misty-eyed just thinking about it.

Project Hail Mary is at 95% on Rotten Tomatoes as the embargo on reviews from media outlets is lifted. I’m not sure why I resonated with the book so much. Perhaps it was because science was used to save the Earth. Perhaps it is the fact that Ryland Grace, the lead, is a teacher, and teachers care deeply about world. No. The reason is the unlikely friend that Ryland meets, and how it is trust, love, and hope that in the end make the biggest difference- as those emotions always do. If you haven’t read Project Hail Mary- read it. We are seeing the movie on the up coming Monday and we are super excited.

In October we found Iris on a chain utterly broken. She’d been used for puppies and then left to slowly stave. She was like a skeleton. After building her back up, today she lives on a farm and her family take her to see the sunset at the beach daily and play with their kids and other dogs. You love to see it ❤️
