Today we welcomed guest speakers and children from Leicestershire schools to recognise and celebrate our Stephen Lawrence ambassadors 🙌 This year marks the fifth anniversary since we opened the Stephen Lawrence Research Centre at DMU and it was great to see the journey our ambassadors have been on 👏

DMU students marked World Refugee Day (20 June) by volunteering at a home supporting people who have experienced forced migration. The students made festival signs and banners with the residents, including children, many of whom have fled the war in Ukraine.

Students meet industry. Industry meet students 🤝 Our career matchmaking programme with @ERRECRUITMENT1, BrightER Futures, has celebrated its Class of 2024. 20 DMU students and graduates have been paired with businesses to help them secure work experience and bolster their CVs.
