Many of us don’t fully understand the sacrifices our parents make just to give us a better future.
Most parents are not wealthy at all but..
They struggle every day, doing their best to send their children to school not because they have excess, but because they want to break the cycle of hardship and give their children opportunities they never had.
If you’re a student reading this, take a moment to deep reflect on your lifestyle.
The moment you gain admission and forget where you’re coming from, you’ve already started going off track. School is not just about the damn freedom...it’s about purpose👌.
When you begin to prioritize distractions like constant partying and nightlife over your studies in trying to feel among, you are gradually delaying your own progress and purpose.
This is not about judging anyone. But It’s about understanding consequences thereafter.✍️
Every action you take builds or damages:
• Your personal image✅
• Your family’s reputation✅✅
• The name of your institution✅✅✅
And one thing you must never forget is that: what goes on to the internet can stay there forever.
So why am I writing this?
I’m reminding every student to stay focused on WHY YOU CAME TO SCHOOL.
Your presence there is not an accident...it is an opportunity.👌
You don’t have to be the best student or graduate with first-class honors. But you must be serious, disciplined, and intentional.
REMEMBER YOU BACKGROUND.! REMEMBER THE SACRIFICES.!! REMEMBER THE GOAL.!!!
Be contented with what your parents can provide for you or pick side hustle jobs to support their efforts. Learn marketable skills to support your finance✍️.
Don’t put yourself under pressure trying to live a lifestyle you cannot sustain.🤷
MAKE YOURSELF PROUD.
MAKE YOUR PARENTS PROUD.
And most importantly, protect your future.✍️
