😂 Fan en förnedring utan dess like.

In this podcast Erik asked me what beginners should do right now to find something they can get going on. We talked about diving into effects like momentum.
I'm going to add something.
Buy the book "Buy the fear sell the greed" by Larry Connors. Run a backtest for every effect in the book in Python or R.
I was able to replicate every effect in the book the other weekend - and they all still have some degree of edge.
But that's something practical you can do to get going if you're not sure where to start. You'll get better at coding (part of the price of admission) as well.
The weekend is upon us. Don't waste time.

week #3 of the move to minis is in the books, stats are here. like i said, last week was war, and i spent a couple of those days climbing out of major holes that i quickly dug for myself off of the open. coming into today with this knowledge i intentionally sat out A period, as well as making several other adjustments that i talked about on stream today.
i'm taking a payout on this and then onward into week 4. once this week is done i'll share some more detailed data once we have a full month to look at and i'll talk about what i think next steps should be for sizing up.
as a reminder, i am sharing these extremely personal details in an effort to connect with other retail traders who possibly feel like their journey is not represented in this space. i know for me it can feel like everyone else is constantly winning and never battling through their process, but in my experience that simply is not true. all traders struggle, it's how we adapt to the struggle that defines us and makes us better.
see yinz tomorrow.

@T_Salvadorini @eraser4paper @Trader_Dante I guess he's talking about the left of eye on D1 Hammer @T_Salvadorini ...but it wasn't naked/untested anyway
English

This mean reversion came with a lot of downside speed. It made me second-guess myself, but @Trader_Dante said, ‘When price arrives at your level with speed, stay firm,’ so I stayed firm 🤷♂️

English

@AleksandrRSFSR @T_Salvadorini @Trader_Dante I guess I'm less asking and more just pointing something out, haha.
But I agree with what you're saying. The thing with this example is that neither the hammer nor the low before the hammer is "clean". The D1 candle on Wed 25 is in the way, but that didn't matter in this case.🤔
