This medieval hammer (c. 1350-1450) is made of boxwood (Buxus sp.). It was found during an archaeological excavation in Ypres (Belgium). #Archaeologists, any thoughts on its function (a stamp?) and do you know similar finds? sketchfab.com/3d-models/hame…

Intentionally destroyed spear can be "bent" back virtually to restore the original shape of the weapon. This animation was done using a photogrammetry model and the riging system in #Blender3d #archaeology #3dscan

@praehist3D 👌🏻 well, we don’t have a lancehead to test it, so worked with what we do have. Even considered bending it more to have same effect as you did 😉
